Visa :
You need a VISA to enter Uganda. The procedure starts online : www.visas.immigration.go.ug. After submission, you will obtain a confirmation e-paper to print and to take with you at the airport. The payment is released at the airport.
If you visit Rwanda and/or Kenya, you can buy an EAC multi-entry passport.

 

 

Vaccination:
Vaccination against yellow fever is an obligation. You need your yellow certificate before landing. This is one of the attachments requested during the online procedure.

 

 

Medication :
You can find some pharmacies in Uganda urban areas and small dispensaries in the villages. But we advise you to take with you your own first aid treatments, especially if you are sensitive. Treatment against malaria is recommended but is not an obligation regarding the Ugandan law. Malaria is present in Uganda in specific regions depending the season.

Uganda has a lot of wetlands area so protection is highly recommended against mosquitos like spray. However, given the altitude of the Country on the Rift Valley, especially in the South-Western part, in Rwenzori or Elgon, exposition is very low.
